Death Is Coming
But So Is Your Mandate

Apostle John Radebe delivers a thunderous wake-up call to the Church: eternity is real, judgment is certain, and the time to rise up is now.

Guest: Apostle John Radebe Church: Apostolic House Bible Church International Date: 3 March 2026 Category: Sermon Summary
⚡ Quick Summary

Apostle John Radebe, founder and presiding apostle of Apostolic House Bible Church International, brought a piercing sermon to JustGospel's Preach It, Pastor! programme on the three unavoidable realities every human being faces: death, judgment, and eternity. His urgent message calls the Church — especially the five-fold ministry — to wake up, consecrate itself, and fulfill its God-given mandate to conscientize this generation before it is too late. The gospel has the power to break every chain. The Church is not here to be silenced. She is here to shine.

There are things in life we negotiate. We negotiate salaries, schedules, relationships, and even our faith — stretching it around convenience until it barely resembles what it was. But Apostle John Radebe walked into the JustGospel studio and laid three things on the table that no amount of status, wealth, education, or politics can move. He called them inevitabilities. And he said the Church has been too quiet about all three of them for too long.

Broadcasting live on JustGospel's Preach It, Pastor! programme — hosted by Pastor Nampumele Langkosi, Monday to Friday from 1 to 2 PM — Apostle John Radebe of Apostolic House Bible Church International brought a sermon that was less a gentle reflection and more a trumpet blast. His core conviction: a generation is dying without God-consciousness because those called to carry the light have grown comfortable in the dark.

The Three Inevitabilities Nobody Is Talking About

Apostle John anchored his message in a simple, devastating premise: every human being, without exception, will face three things. Not might face. Will face. And the Church's silence on these realities is not compassion — it is negligence.

1

Death

Apostle John described death as a "warrant officer" — coming to arrest every person and present them before the judgment seat of God. Hebrews tells us it is appointed for all mankind to die once, and then face judgment. No social status, skin colour, bank balance, or political affiliation changes this appointment. Death is coming.

2

Judgment

After death comes an accounting. Every deed done in this life will be presented before the Lord. This is not a threat — it is the very reality that makes the gospel urgent. The Church's mandate is to remind people that they have a choice before they stand there, not after.

Heaven or Hell — Chosen Now

"The opportunity to choose your final destiny is now. Not after the grave. Not after your date." The door is open today. The power of the gospel is enough to reverse any situation, break any chain, and transform any life — but the window is this life, not the next.

"It does not matter what kind of bondage has bound you. There is enough power in the gospel of Jesus to reverse your situation, to transform your life, to break those chains and to pull you out of diabolical structures and systems."

— Apostle John Radebe

The Church Has Lost Its God-Consciousness

With the urgency of a man who has seen too many communities swallowed by darkness, Apostle John turned his attention directly to the five-fold ministry. His assessment was blunt: the Church is failing to conscientize this generation about God. And where God-consciousness fades, communities pay the price in behavioural collapse, moral drift, and lives lost to eternity without Christ.

He drew a sharp contrast between what the Church was built to be and what it has sometimes become — a centre of entertainment rather than a force of transformation. "We do not have to assimilate. We do not have to live like the world. We are not here to align ourselves with the standards of this world. Our assignment is to fulfill the mandate of Jesus Christ — to proclaim the gospel."

"The light shines in darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it."

— John 1:5

That verse was his anchor. The Church is the embodiment of the light. And light does not negotiate with darkness — it simply shines, and the darkness moves. "We are here to create a spiritual climate that is conducive for the moves of God. We are here to be governmental. We are here to dictate the direction of communities."

Why Jesus Was the Only One Who Could Do It

Apostle John took a moment to explain, with theological precision, why the incarnation was not merely a beautiful story — it was the only possible answer to an otherwise unsolvable problem. Sin, he explained, was a "scientific strategy" of the enemy: designed to destroy everything God created, and designed with no natural cure.

Animals could not atone for man — man outranks animals in the spiritual order. Angels could not die for man — they were not subject to the law under which man had fallen. And God, being above the law, could not simply die as God. The only solution was for God to become man — fully God, fully man — to enter creation under its own protocols, live without sin, and satisfy the justice of heaven on behalf of every person who would ever live.

"God made a decision: I will become a man. I will put myself under the law. I will enter into the body of a man. I will obey the protocols of creation — and I will go there to certify the justice of God."

— Apostle John Radebe

This is why Paul wrote in Romans 8:1 — "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit." The law of the Spirit of life has set the believer free from the law of sin and death. The price was paid. The cure exists. And the Church holds the prescription.

The Mandate: Rise Up, Shine, and Take Territory

Having laid the theological foundation, Apostle John issued the call. Not a gentle suggestion — a mandate. The Church is not planted to be silent. She is planted to be strategic, powerful, and relentless in the proclamation of the gospel.

⚡ The Church's Mandate — Key Declarations

  • We are here to lay hands on the sick and see them healed.
  • We are here to create a God-consciousness in this generation.
  • We are here to be governmental — to set the standard and direction of communities.
  • We are here to bind diabolical structures, systems, and behavioural patterns.
  • We are here to pull young people back from destruction and give them hope.
  • We are here to raise dying families crushed by economic and societal pressure.
  • Darkness cannot stop us. Demons cannot silence us. Challenges cannot define us.
  • When we move into territories, in the name of Jesus, the gospel will be preached.

He drew on 1 Corinthians 12:28 to remind believers that everyone has a role. The five-fold ministry carries the proclamation. But the "ministry of helps" — business people, those in the marketplace, those in political and cultural sectors — are the Josephs of God. Strategically planted to resource the vision. "We have weakened the church by disconnecting the marketplace from the original intentions of the church," he said. "They must bring God's intentions with them into the marketplace."

Consecrate Yourself — The Enemy Has Defiled the Church's Clothes

There was a pastoral tenderness beneath the fire as Apostle John addressed the weariness that many in ministry carry. He acknowledged it plainly: some are hurt, some are disappointed, some are broken. And to every one of them, his message was the same — God knew. He knew what you would face, and He chose you anyway. Because He believes in the power He deposited in you.

His call to consecration was urgent: "The enemy has defiled our clothes — our eyes no longer see clearly. But when we move into prayer, when we avail ourselves in the presence of the Lord, when we yield ourselves for consecration to take place — vision and the burden of the Lord will be awakened within us." Prayer is not optional maintenance. It is the source of sight.

"Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind."

— Romans 12:2

Rise Up — Your Entrance Into Ministry Must Not Be in Vain

Apostle John closed with one of the most stirring calls to purpose that has been heard on JustGospel's airwaves. He prayed over every preacher, every pastor, every intercessor, every worship leader, every believer — that when they leave this planet, they will be able to say with Paul: "I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith."

"I urge you: rise up. Purify yourself. Revive yourself. Surrender yourself to the Lord. He chose you because He believes in the power deposited in you — that you are able to withstand whatever will come your way."

— Apostle John Radebe

He prayed for communities, for families, for the government, and for South Africa — that this nation would fulfil its prophetic mandate. He declared apostolically over every Jezebelic structure: "Watch out. The Church is still here. We are coming in the name of Jesus to declare the power of the cross."

Do You Want to Give Your Life to Jesus Today?

Apostle John Radebe prayed this prayer live on air. If you feel the pull of the Holy Spirit — lift your hands and pray with him now:

"Lord Jesus, I hear the gospel. I surrender all. I give my life to You. I repent from all my sins. Wash me in the blood of Jesus and write my name in the Lamb's Book of Life. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen."
